Warranty

Warranty Coverage: The warranty period for ERYD scooters begins based on the purchase invoice, order receipt, product activation date, or system record date, whichever is applicable. For e-commerce orders, the warranty period starts from the delivery date to the customer.

Warranty Period:

  • Main Body (including battery, charger, frame, motor, controller, dashboard, front fork, main harness): 1 year
  • Accessories (including brake levers, brake disc, brake line, throttle control, and other non-daily consumable parts): 6 months
  • Consumable Parts (including anti-collision strip, headlight, bell, fender, taillight, decorative cover, kickstand, footpad): 3 months

Out of Warranty: The following damages are considered out of warranty:

  • Abuse, misuse, or neglect such as fire, collision, water damage, riding over obstacles, or theft
  • Aging effects like color shading, fading of painted surfaces, deterioration of plated surfaces, rubber and plastics deterioration, or rusting
  • Remodeling or modification of the product
  • Cracking of the frame due to excessive load
  • Water damage to electrical parts
  • Front wheel or motor deformation
  • Abrasion of plastic parts and/or brake parts
  • Torn or damaged stickers
  • Flat tires
  • Battery not charged for more than 2 weeks
  • Expired warranty period
  • Product or component alteration by someone other than the manufacturer
  • Wear-and-tear damage
  • Overloading beyond designed maximum load

Free parts are provided within the warranty period, but shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Street Legal: ERYD Scooters come with VINs approved by DOT. Check the VIN information at the United States Department of Transportation's website. Regulations regarding street legality vary by city; contact the local DMV for information on obtaining plates for the scooter. Please note that street legality may vary across American cities.
